Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 24, 2026

This policy explains what information Scribbles, a product of YouCraft Solutions Inc. (“we”), collects, how we use it, and what your choices are, across our website and apps (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to what's described here.

One honest note up front: Scribbles is a young product built by a small team, and we're shipping quickly. We'll keep this policy updated as the product evolves, and we'd rather tell you plainly what we do today than hide behind legal language. If anything here is unclear, email us and we'll give you a straight answer.

Information we collect

Information you provide. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and any other information you choose to provide (such as a phone number for SMS capture or a profile photo). When you use the Service, we collect the content you create, save, or upload — scribbles, documents, sources, lists, and the objects you extract from them.

Information collected automatically. We collect basic usage information about your interactions with the Service, including device information, browser type, IP address, pages viewed, and features used. We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to understand how the Service is used.

Information from third parties. If you sign in using a third-party provider (for example, Google), we receive basic profile information from that provider. If you connect an integration (for example, an email account or a social platform), we receive data from that service as authorized by you.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to operate, maintain, and improve the Service; to authenticate you and keep your account secure; to provide AI features that extract, structure, and organize your content; to communicate with you about your account and product updates; to process payments; and to comply with legal obligations.

AI processing

Some Service features use third-party AI providers to process your content — for example, to extract structured objects from scribbles, generate suggestions, or summarize text. When we send your content to these providers, we do so under agreements that prohibit them from using your data to train their models. We do not sell your content, and we do not use your content to train models without your explicit consent.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us run the Service (such as hosting, payment processing, email delivery, and AI providers), when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. If you choose to publish content (for example, a shared page), that content is made publicly available at the URL you share.

Text messaging (SMS & WhatsApp)

If you verify your phone number in the app, you consent to receive text messages from Scribbles. These messages are strictly transactional and tied to your own activity — one-time verification codes, replies from your assistant when you message it, and reminders you explicitly schedule. Scribbles does not run marketing or promotional messaging campaigns; messages are only ever sent in response to something you set up.

Message frequency varies based on your own usage. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier plan. We do not share your mobile number or your SMS opt-in with any third party or affiliate for their marketing purposes. You can opt out at any time by removing your number in Settings.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete content in the app, it disappears from your workspace right away, but copies may remain in our systems for a while (for example in database records and backups). We don't yet have a self-serve “delete my account” button — it's on our list. Until then, email us and we'll delete your account and the personal information we hold about you, except for the small amount we may need to keep for legal, accounting, or security reasons.

Security

We protect your information with industry-standard measures like encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure and we won't pretend ours is, but we take this seriously. If we learn of a breach that affects your information, we will notify you as required by law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Right now the way to exercise these rights is to email us at the address below — we'll handle your request personally and respond within the time required by applicable law. As the product matures, we'll build more of this directly into the Service.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

International transfers

We operate the Service from the United States, and your information may be processed in countries other than the one in which you live. We take appropriate steps to ensure that your information receives an adequate level of protection wherever it is processed.

Changes to this policy

We're building fast, so this policy will change as the product does — expect updates. If we make changes that matter, we'll tell you by email or in the app, not just quietly bump the date. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when this page was last revised.
